My friend Birdie runs a Minecraft server, it's a great server with plenty of people and lots to do and build. However, a while back Birdie's hoster's CEO ran off with the company's $93,00 causing them to have no choice but to shut down due to lack of funds.
Unfortunately for us avid Minecraft players, one of the best servers in all of Minecraftia had a uncomfortably long down time. But all is not woe! The admins have switched to a new server and it's been up and running for a few weeks now, and I'd like to invite you all to come join us.

Monasteries, Cowboys and Posion.
I'm the unfortunate kind of person who has a hard time sleeping at night, normally I try not to let it bother me, but last night was weird, a whole new kind of weird. I kept having this recurring dream. As soon as I finally fell asleep it started and I always woke up at the same point in the dream. But as soon as I fell asleep again the dream repeated its self in my mind.
I've come to consider that this dream was in fact my brain trying to piece together all of my favourite video games into something that would be totally awesome to play, and if my dream was simply a demo of the game I've gotta admit it would be awesome!
It went something like this:
There's this giant Uncharted style monastery floating in the middle of the ocean with wooden jetty around it. I'm a cowboy and I'm wearing a big brown duster with a white shirt and a denim sort of waist coat thing with black trousers. The outfit is really not unlike John Marston's "Duster" outfit from Red Dead Redemption
I'm walking around the monastery and see a boat I call the mechanic to get him to take it away and he tows it away using a tow boat to a floating little garage a few meters away from this monastery (these are the only two things for miles and miles everything else is just water)
I think I was planning to get the boat mechanic to safe guard this boat and use it as a get away vehicle. Did I mention that my wife and daughter are being held prisoner somewhere in this monastery? 'Cause that's important. This would also make sense as RDR reference.
So I break into the monastery through the front gates I sneak around the left flank behind all these buildings to avoid being seen, but the inner wall has these weird gargoyle faces that are spewing poison out the mouths, and if I touch it I die. So I flatten against the wall and go behind the water falls of poison, This kind of reminds me of a bit from Metal Gear Solid, you know the bit in first game in the blast furnace where you have to flatten against the wall to avoid being knocked by the crane and falling to your death?
I keep following the wall until there's no more buildings hiding me and I'm in a open part of the court yard, I step forward onto grass and this bald monk in orange robes sees me, he's holding this spear thing and is about to throw it at me so I whip out a throwing knife and throw it at him first. He falls back dead, and I'm proud of my stealth kill, if I killed him with my revolver, I note to my self, it would of made too much noise. I take the knife outta him and run through this courtyard where I find this big shed.
I break into the shed and and my family's there, but there's also these big burly men, I go to draw my Le Matt Revolver, it looked an awful lot like Malcom Reynholds' pistol, from Firefly but definitely had a rotating barrel.
However as I pull the gun out the holster one of them pushes me against the wall of the shed. So I spin the revolver round in my hand and catch the barrel, I start hitting the guys with the handle of the gun and we get into a big hand to hand CQC fight.
After we're done I'm obviously physically exhausted but the others are either knocked out or rolling on the floor with broken limbs. I go up to my wife to reassure her and tell her I'm gonna get her out of here, but then she tells me to meet my other daughter called Amy and brings forward this toddler girl.
I'm really confused, I only remember ever having one daughter, and my wife's only been here a few months, she wasn't pregnant when she went missing. I'm wondering what this means? Maybe she was raped and got pregnant? But people don't give birth this fast? Regardless, now isn't the time for asking questions so I start to escort them back out to the exit to get away from here when I wake up.
At this point I should note that in reality I do not have a wife or any children at all. I've got a suspicion that the whole old Monastery thing is a reference to Uncharted?
Every time I fell asleep again after this I had the same dream over and over It was really weird. The only time the dream was different was the last time when after the mechanic took the boat I shouted at him and then said sorry because I was under a lot of stress. He said it was okay and he'd be stressed too if he had to save him family from a bunch of crazy monks on a floating monastery in he middle of nowhere.
Edit: I wasn't sure if the plural for Monastery was 'Monasterys' or 'Monasteries', turned out it was Monasteries.
